The Wrapt in winter marketing campaign commenced in mid May through a variety of media channels including print, online, radio, television and ambient outdoor advertising in key target markets including Sydney and regional NSW. Australian Capital Tourism will invest a minimum of $500,000 into the Wrapt in winter campaign in addition to industry contribution helping to generate approximately $1 million worth of media exposure.
Highlights to date have included:
- Destinational features (four pages each) in The Sydney Morning Herald Spectrum and Weekend Australian Review sections
- The distribution of 400,000 copies of the winter seasonal supplement in three Sydney metro and 14 regional NSW papers
- National magazine advertising presence in Australian Traveller, Out n About with Kids and Holidays With Kids
- A comprehensive online campaign focusing on tactical placement, social media and blogging sites
- Creative executions to be placed inside 728 Sydney metro bus interiors
- Ongoing radio advertisements on Sydney metro and regional NSW radio
