During Module 1 of Tourism Reboot, the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) spoke of the importance of demonstrating COVID compliance to your visitors or customers. There are a few providers that offer COVID compliant accreditations.
ATEC’s COVID Ready Program
The ATEC COVID Ready Program is an on-demand program, designed to equip tourism businesses to operate with confidence in a COVID world. Available for both ATEC members (free-of-charge) and non-members (paid enrolment), the program is based upon the Australian Federal Government National COVID Compliance Commission (NCCC) COVIDSafe guidelines.
National Capital Attractions Association’s COVID Clean Module
The NCAA provides a COVID Clean Module which is free-of-charge for all businesses through the Australian Tourism Industry Council. Their COVID-19 Clean Practicing Business accreditation has been recognised through the World Tourism & Travel Council’s ‘Safe Travels’ stamp. This stamp is global recognition of enhanced health and safety measures, in line with the WTTC global Safe Travels protocols. Register and complete the module to receive a logo to show that your business has completed an accredited COVID Clean course.
