  • How to get involved with #RestaurantAustralia
POSTED January 25, 2017
CATEGORIES Industry,

In the lead up to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, Tourism Australia is urging the tourism industry to share their most engaging gastronomic-themed content on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter using #RestaurantAustralia.

Tourism Australia will be utilising this hashtag to amplify industry content both in the lead-up to, and during the event. This content will also be used to keep the Instagram section of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants hub on Australia.com up-to-date with fresh and appealing content.

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards are a celebration of global gastronomy which will bring the world’s most influential foodie leaders to Australia.  Melbourne will be hosting the flagship event in April, marking the first time this iconic awards ceremony has been held in Australia.

To encourage Australian tourism businesses to share their unique culinary experiences, Tourism Australia has published a new #RestaurantAustralia how-to-guide. The guide outlines how to get involved with #RestaurantAustralia, information and tips on what makes engaging content, and examples of inspiring #RestaurantAustralia images and videos.  View the how-to-guide here.
