POSTED January 24, 2017
CATEGORIES General, Industry,

A new 160-room Abode Hotel will be the centrepiece of GEOCON’s latest mixed-use project, ‘Midnight’.

Located at 92 Northbourne Ave, Braddon, Midnight will consist of three integrated buildings with the Abode Hotel wrapped around an internal courtyard at the core of the complex.

The nine-storey project will also include 250 private apartments and commercial and retail space on the ground and first levels.

The ingenious design has been created by world-renowned architects Fender Katsalidis and OCULUS Urban Planners, the team behind the NewActon precinct and the iconic Nishi building.

The hotel fitout will be all self-contained studio apartments, mirroring the successful formula at Abode’s other properties in Woden, Tuggeranong, Narrabundah and Gungahlin.

The development is expected to be completed in 2019.
