Session topics for the Destination Canberra Conference plenary sessions on Friday 17 February have been finalised.
In response to feedback from the 2016 conference, we have opened up the second day as a half day of training plenary sessions. Day 2 will also be open to those who cannot attend both days of the conference but are keen to learn from the expert industry professionals visiting Canberra – relevant members of your teams can choose from a stellar line up.
Todd Wheatland from the award winning King Content will be giving two sessions on how to create and evaluate a content strategy. As VisitCanberra continues to develop our One Good Thing After Another platform, learn how to develop your content strategy in 2017 and make an impact through content marketing and social media.
Simon Spellicy from Sandwalk Partners will focus on how cultural attractions can create sustainable revenues. In the current climate of budget efficiencies, learn how to develop commercial and market ready visitor experiences integrated with your core cultural purpose.
Ali Uren from Kiikstart will give a lively and interactive session centered around using innovative delivery models to create measurable and innovative points of difference in your visitor experience. Learn how to develop your business in 2017 without the use of technology, it could be a life changing experience!
The two plenary session streams on Friday February 17 will run from 9am-10.20am and 10.40am-12pm followed by a networking lunch – full program details here.
