The ACT Parks & Conservation Service has an exciting opportunity to partner with an astute business provider in the delivery of innovative nature based tourism initiatives here in the bush capital.
With significant funding available, ACT Parks is seeking to formally engage in a collaborative affiliation with a proactive business partner to foster a range of quintessential nature based tourism experiences.
At the core of this partnership is a portfolio of unique ecotourism accommodation experiences offering a financial return to the business partner.
With a progressive business partner marketing and managing this portfolio, the adaptive reuse of former ranger houses has been designed to allow guests to immerse themselves in the heart of Namadgi National Park and Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve.
In further developing business opportunities, the prospective business partner will co-design signature nature based experiences, showcasing the intrinsic natural wonders of the conservation estate. These experiences will be supported by a pool of professional volunteer guides with the ongoing training and retention of enthusiastic volunteers one of the key deliverables under this contract.
This tender process represents an innovative opportunity with scope for a motivated business partner to enhance these unique experiences through growth, generating income from a combination of government base funding and direct revenue streams.
