Entries open on Wednesday 3 May for the Australian Event Awards, the national awards program for the Australian events industry. There are 10 categories for Australia’s best sporting, community, charity, tourism, cultural and corporate (and other) events and 10 achievement categories including look, design and theming, technical achievement or innovation, marketing, communications or sponsorship, products or services, education, venue management and the best event producers and companies in the country.
Entries can be submitted via the online Entry Portal at www.eventawards.com.au. Entries started and paid for by Tuesday 13 June 2017 will receive the Early Starters discount and entrants will still have time to work on these submissions up until entries close on Monday 17 July.
The Australian events industry will gather on the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday 13 September for the Awards Ceremony which will be followed by the Australian Event Symposium on 14-15 September.
