  • Sample Canberra District wine at CDWIA’s boutique wine event
POSTED July 17, 2017
CATEGORIES General,

Sample wine from 12 of the best producers in the Canberra District, as well as delicious locally-made chocolates from Robyn Rowe at the Canberra District Wine Industry Association’s (CDWIA) upcoming wine event.

Hosted in the beautiful courtyard of NewActon, warm up with mulled wine and listen to tunes by Capital City Soul DJs. There will also be food available to purchase.

CDWIA’s President, John Leyshon, said this event is the start of several boutique events that the Canberra District will be hosting over the next 12 months.

“The Canberra District is well-known nationally and internationally for the exceptional quality of its cool-climate wines and at this event we are bringing these award-winning wines to NewActon so you don’t have to travel.”

The participating Canberra District Wine Industry members featured at the event include Contentious Character, Four Winds Vineyard, Eden Road Wines, Kerralee Vineyard, Mount Majura, Murrumbateman Winery, Robyn Rowe Chocolates, Sapling Yard, Shaw Vineyard Estate, Summerhill Road Vineyard, Wily Trout and Wimbaliri Wines.

In addition to tastings, attendees will be able to purchase take-away bottles at Cellar Door prices.

Pre-sale tickets are available via Eventbrite at $20, or at the door for $25.  (Price includes tasting glass.) Please note that numbers are limited.

Date: Saturday 29 July 2017
