The Australian Regional Tourism Network’s (ARTN) flagship event, the ARTN Convention will be held in Canberra over 23 – 26 October 2017.
The annual ARTN convention provides a forum to discuss, debate and investigate the issues, challenges and opportunities facing regional tourism. The Convention is for all sectors of the tourism industry to exchange ideas about ways to grow a sustainable regional destination and to showcase best practice success.
The overarching theme for the Convention is providing a plan for regional tourism to 2030. The program themes for this year’s Convention include politics of tourism; getting air access to take off; accessibility and inclusion; cultivating tourism; and growing the digital and sharing economy.
