Congratulations to Jonathan Kobus on his appointment as the acting Director of VisitCanberra to cover the period whilst Executive Director, Enterprise Canberra Ian Hill is on long service leave.
Jonathan will be acting in this position until 1 December, and will also retain his responsibility for Brand Canberra while in his position as acting Director.
Prior to his role as Senior Manager, Innovate Canberra, Jonathan spent more than 10 years working at VisitCanberra.
Deputy Director, VisitCanberra Jo Verden has taken on a new role of acting Director, Special Events, also until 1 December 2017. Jo has extensive major event experience and will be responsible for overseeing the events and activities of Events ACT during this period, including the implementation of the recently released 2025 Major Event Strategy for the ACT.
