  • Celebrate with the ‘Best in Australia’
POSTED October 20, 2017
CATEGORIES Awards, Events,

Following on from the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) National Awards for Excellence, held on the Gold Coast in September,  the AHA ACT Branch will be hosting a celebration to congratulate the local ACT winners, Jamala Wildlife Lodge, winner of Best Deluxe Accommodation; Casey Jones, winner of Best Pub Bistro; and Damian Brabender of OTIS Dining Hall, winner of Best Chef.

The celebration event will be held from 3pm on Sunday 29 October at Casey Jones.

AHA ACT General Manager, Jo Broad, said “It is a great opportunity to celebrate our local winners of the national Awards. It is also a testament of the hospitality scene in Canberra that we are able to compete at a national level and take home these coveted Awards.”

“Sunday 29 October is all about bringing together our winners in a relaxed and fun atmosphere and raising our glasses to celebrate their success.”

There will be champagne, cake, live music and animals from the Zoo, as well as short speeches from each of the winners, and all ticket proceeds will go to the National Zoo and Aquarium Conservation Team.
