The Rugby League World Cup is set to kick off this week around Australia. A total of fourteen teams will compete in the Rugby League World Cup 2017, with the tournament featuring 28 games played over five weeks in three host countries – Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Canberra is host city to three World Cup pool matches:
Sunday 29 October 2017 – France v Lebanon
Friday 3 November 2017 – Australia v France
Friday 10 November 2017 – Fiji v Italy
