The Canberra Glassworks has announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer, Julie Skate. Julie was previously Director at Artspace Mackay and has a broad range of experience both within and outside arts organisations.
Julie’s particular focus is working for not-for-profit entities where she is able to make a significant contribution to the local, national and international cultural landscape.
Chairman, Michael Snare says “Julie is committed to the advancement of the arts in Australia and brings highly effective communication skills and a proven ability to set direction and implement strategies to deliver positive outcomes.”
Julie will commence with the Glassworks on Tuesday 28 November 2017.
