The Canberra Region has a new online home thanks to collaboration by the ACT Government, the NSW Government and Canberra Region Joint Organisation (CBRJO).
The Canberra Region website provides tourists, locals and potential investors with insights and tips about the four sub-regions that make up this diverse region, including the coast, the alpine district, the tablelands and the city.
The website was launched at the Canberra Airport, with the ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr, NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro, Canberra Region Joint Organisation, Cr Kristy McBain, Mayor of Bega Valley Shire Council and other regional champions in attendance.
“Canberra has been named one of the top ten cities in the world to visit in 2018, thanks in part to our proximity to the mountains, the coast and the nearby wine regions.” Andrew Barr, ACT Chief Minister said.
“Promoting the wider Canberra region is a key priority of the ACT Government, so it’s great to be part of this ongoing effort to highlight everything the region has to offer.”
The development of the website was co-funded by the ACT Government, NSW Government and CBRJO.
