  • Destination Canberra Conference early bird registrations close next week
POSTED November 23, 2017
CATEGORIES Events, Industry, Workshops,

Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority’s Director Tourism Operations, Anne McVilly;  Unbound Group’s CEO, Antony Arena; and Snapcracker Research + Strategy, will join the 2018 Destination Canberra Conference’s line-up of inspirational and industry-leading speakers.

Snapcracker will be presenting in partnership with VisitCanberra and special guests to reveal insights from our ACT Visitor Segmentation and international research programs – all of which will inform VisitCanberra’s strategic marketing programs and initiatives.

Lonely Planet’s Director of Sales and Marketing (Asia Pacific), Chris Zeiher; and global travel company, Expedia, have already been confirmed for the conference in addition to keynote speaker, Bernard Salt. Bernard is a futurist who uses demographic and social change to interpret how society and business might evolve, which makes him one of Australia’s leading social commentators.

In a Destination Canberra Conference first, Tourism Australia, VisitCanberra and Destination Southern NSW will participate in a topical and interactive panel discussion.

Four plenary sessions on Friday 16 February will be building on the findings of the first day with key practical take outs delivered to build business capacity.

Discounted early bird rates are available until Thursday 30 November 2017.

Further program information will be released in the coming weeks.

Register your attendance at the 2018 Destination Canberra Conference.
