POSTED November 23, 2017
CATEGORIES Applications, Industry,

Tourism businesses can apply for an Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) to receive up to a 50 per cent reimbursement of eligible international marketing and promotional expenses.

The EMDG scheme is a key Australian Government financial assistance program for aspiring and current exporters. Administered by Austrade, the scheme supports a wide range of industries, including the tourism industry.

Businesses can claim for a variety of expenses including marketing visits, trade fairs and seminars, promotional literature and advertising, and free samples expenses.

The EMDG lodgement period for self-submitted applications ends on Thursday 30 November, after which applications must be submitted through an approved Quality Incentive Program (QIP) consultant.
