  • Sydney-Melbourne Touring New Zealand Mega Famil
POSTED November 22, 2017
CATEGORIES Industry, International,

VisitCanberra, in partnership with Sydney-Melbourne Touring, Visit Victoria, and Singapore Airlines, recently hosted a mega famil for 27 retail travel agents from New Zealand. The famil was designed to promote the Heritage Drive between Melbourne and Canberra, and provide front-line retail agents with first-hand experience on how to recommend and sell this drive to their clients.

The 5-night itinerary started in Melbourne and travelled through the towns of regional Victoria, finishing with two nights in Canberra from 3-5 November showcasing the city’s attractions and food/wine.

The famil received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the group of agents. VisitCanberra would like to thank the industry partners who very kindly supported this famil including the Australian War Memorial, Capital Brewing Co, Aria Hotel Canberra, Parklands Hotel and Apartments, Balloon Aloft, SegGlideRide, Hyatt Hotel Canberra, National Gallery of Australia, Australian Institute of Sport and the National Museum of Australia.

If you would like further information about our trade program or are an export-ready product and would like to take part in VisitCanberra’s famils program, please contact tourism.trade@act.gov.au
