Brompton bike hire will be available from the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre (CRVC) commencing on Friday 22 December.
The Visitors Centre is the ideal location for visitors and locals alike to hire bikes to ride around the scenic Lake Burley Griffin.
The folding Brompton bikes are light weight, sturdy and available for 2 hour, 4 hour and 1 day hire. Pre-booking and reserving bikes is unavailable as the hire will operate on a first come first serve basis.
Helmets, saddle bags, bike locks and lake maps will be provided, along with a folding and operational induction by staff before departing the CRVC.
Hire rates will begin from $20 (2 hours) for an adult and $15 (2 hours) for a child.
