Canberra will play proud host to the Skal Australia National Assembly in March this year. Skal is an international tourism organisation with 14,610 members, across 355 clubs in 82 nations. Australia makes up one of the largest nations, with more than 1200 members from 24 different clubs, all of whom are invited to attend the National Assembly.

The Canberra club have raised their profile over the past two years, and were named in the top 10 Skal clubs of the year in both 2017 and 2016.

The National Assembly comprises of various fun networking events, along with the AGM and National Assembly Meeting, which observers are encouraged to attend. The Skal International World President, Susanna Saari from Finland will be visiting Canberra for the National Assembly as well as representatives from clubs Australia wide. The full list of events are as follows:

Thursday 15 March –  Skal International Canberra Club Meeting
Venue: Jamala Wildlife Lodge
Time: 12.30pm – 3.30pm
Cost: $55 per person

Friday 16 March – Welcome Ceremony – Grazing in the Garden
Venue: Mercure Canberra Courtyard
Time: 6pm – 9pm
Cost: $55 per person

Saturday 17 March– AGM & National Assembly
Venue: Mercure Canberra Grosvenor Room
Time: 8.30am SHARP – 4.30pm

Saturday 17 March – Pre dinner drinks followed by gala dinner
Venue: Mercure Canberra Large Lounge Area & Carlton Room
Time: 6.30pm – 11pm
Cost: $129 per person
