  • Abode Murrumbateman opens
POSTED February 7, 2018
CATEGORIES General, Industry,

Abode Murrumbateman was officially opened by ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr and Yass Valley Mayor Rowena Abbey this week.

The 50 room, four-star accommodation property has boosted the Yass Valley’s accommodation offering by 30 percent.

The new property will enhance the choice of accommodation for visitors to the region. It is anticipated that the hotel will attract an additional 23,000 visitors per year to the region, and inject over $1.85 million into the local economy annually.

Abode Hotels now operate five hotels in the Canberra region, with a Kingston hotel opening mid-year. By the end of 2020, they will have more than 1000 hotel rooms under management with new Abode hotels coming online at Geocon developments’ Midnight in Braddon and Republic in Belconnen, and five star hotels emerging in Garema Place in the CBD, West Block in the Parliamentary Triangle and in the Kingston Arts Precinct.
