Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre won gold in the Tourist Attractions category at the 2017 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards. The award recognises Questacon as an industry leader in providing tourism products and services.
Almost 800 tourism industry representatives from across the country celebrated the best-of-the-best at a gala event at the new Optus Stadium in Perth on Friday 23 February. The Awards showcase the best in outstanding customer service, innovation and ongoing business excellence.
This is the second consecutive year that Questacon has taken out gold in the Tourist Attractions category at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
Destination Southern Highlands received silver in the Destination Marketing category for their “Pie Time” promotion, and the Hyatt Hotel Canberra received bronze in the Luxury Accommodation category.
