  • ACT Permaculture Festival
POSTED April 4, 2018
CATEGORIES Events, Workshops,

The ACT Permaculture Festival is celebrating 40 years of permaculture with co-originator David Holmgren and Costa Georgiadis.

Permaculture is the harmonious integration of landscape and people – providing food, energy, shelter and other needs in a sustainable way. It covers a huge array of topics to help you live a low-impact lifestyle, from helping you grow your own food to lowering your energy use.

Experience sustainable living with demonstrations, tours of Canberra City farm, workshops, presentations, music, market and community stalls, kids activities and the official book launch of RetroSuburbia.

This is a free event in a relaxed family-friendly environment.

Bring your reusable coffee cup, water bottles and shopping bags for use.

Date: Sunday 15 April
Time: 10am – 4pm
Location: Canberra City Farm, 2 Dairy Rd, Fyshwick
