Schmicnics offer fully catered and styled picnic parties for groups of 25 or more, and offer a variety of gourmet packages to suit the occasion.
There are two types of Schmicnic:
- Hampers – freshly prepared into boxes ready for pickup from the lakeside location (The Boat House), these are suited to 2 or more people. Hampers also include napkins, disposable cutlery and plates.
- Parties – designed for groups of 25 or more and feature a large picnic grazing table as the centrepiece of the party. You can also ‘Schmic” a party by adding in extra furniture, staff or beverages.
Schmicnics is based in Barton, Canberra and was created by the team at The Boat House. Schmicnics services Lake Burley Griffin and surrounding areas. Indoor schmicnics options are also available.
