Nominations are now open for the 2018 Canberra Region Tourism Awards, as announced at the official launch last week at the Vibe Hotel, Canberra Airport.
ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr MLA spoke about the importance of the Awards which provide an opportunity to showcase the best of our region’s tourism operators as well as promote, encourage and reward tourism excellence.
The Awards are open to all businesses and suppliers to the tourism industry. In 2018, there are 32 categories available to enter. The winners of categories 1 – 25 will become finalists in the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards where they are judged against other state winners in their category.
Entrant support programs will continue this year, which includes workshops, mentoring, a submission review service and the continuation of entrant handbooks. These support programs are a valuable source of information to assist with submission preparation and business planning.
More information on categories, key dates and entry information, can be found on the Canberra Region Tourism Awards website.
Nominations close on Friday 29 June 2018.
