Wholesale and consumer tickets for the National Museum of Australia’s Rome: City + Empire are now on sale.

Running from 21 September through to 3 February next year, the exhibition which is exclusive to Canberra, is the second collaboration with the British Museum and follows the successful A History of the World in 100 Objects.

This exhibition tells stories of the ‘eternal city’ and the might and power of the ancient empire, which continues to intrigue 30,000 years after its foundation. The exhibition features more than 200 objects spanning the historical period from 10th Century BCE to the 6th Century CE. Many of the objects have never previously toured or left the UK.

When:   21 September 2018 to 3 February 2019.

Open:    9am-5pm 21 September to 24 December (closed Christmas Day)

8am-7pm 26 December to 3 February
