  • Training Aussie Specialist Agents in India
POSTED October 3, 2018
CATEGORIES International, Workshops,

VisitCanberra last week hosted a training webinar for Aussie Specialist Agents based in India. A total of 100 agents joined the webinar to learn more about Canberra and how to recommend and sell the destination to their clients. The hour-long webinar highlighted Canberra as a self-drive destination, including itinerary ideas for combining the capital with its surrounding coastal, alpine and wine-growing regions.

The training webinar was delivered as part of Tourism Australia’s Aussie Specialist Program. As a partner of this program, VisitCanberra maintains an online training module, conducts annual training webinars, and contributes to regular e-newsletters across all of Tourism Australia’s key international markets. VisitCanberra also attends training events (e.g. Corroboree Asia) and hosts famils for Aussie Specialist Agents.

More information on the Aussie Specialist program can be found here on Tourism Australia’s website.
