VisitCanberra has recently completed an Aussie Specialist Program (ASP) incentive in China to encourage travel agents to complete the ACT training module. Agents who completed the ACT module were given the chance to win one of ten 2019 Year of the Pig coin sets from the Royal Australian Mint.
During the 2-week promotion, 202 travel agents completed the training module, making it one of the best performing state/territory module incentives in China market to date! The announcement of the promotion on Tourism Australia’s ASP WeChat channel also attracted significant views and engagement.
VisitCanberra would like to thank the Royal Australian Mint for their support of this incentive.
In addition, Tourism Australia’s China Office have recently coordinated a Canberra training session for travel agents of the China Youth Travel Service (CYTS). A representative of the CYTS agency who participated in the recent Corroboree Asia famil to Canberra shared her experiences and knowledge with her colleagues. The training session was attended by over 40 agents from CYTS allowing further sharing of Canberra’s key messages and selling points amongst travel agents in China.
