Canberra Craft Brewers made top spots in hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beer

Now in its 11^th year, The Great Australian Beer Spectacular (GABS), hosted a national poll to celebrate the “Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers”.

On Sunday 27 January, with over 155,000 votes, 11 Canberra craft beers hit the list of Australia’s top 100. Crankshaft India Pale Ale, produced by the BentSpoke Brewing Company, was voted one of the top three Australian craft beers for the second year in succession. BentSpoke had five beers in the top 25, and Capital Brewing – whose Coast Ale came in at number 15 – had six beers in the top 100.

This is a great result for the modest sized brewing industry, with the 11 Canberra beers in the top 100 an increase on the seven in 2017.
