The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) is seeking Expression of Interest from local wine industry businesses to attend the Beyond the Barrel National Wine Tourism Conference 2019.
Being held in the McLaren Vale and Adelaide from 18 to 20 June 2019, the conference is an opportunity for the Australian wine industry to interact in a commercial environment with the tourism industry and meet face to face with inbound tour operator ‘buyers’.
Wine businesses need to have commissionable product ready for the inbound market. If you are not sure if you are ‘inbound ready’, contact ATEC and refer to the current ‘Growing Wine Tourism’ program being rolled out across Australia for ‘international ready’ wine industry product.
Wine businesses must fit the following categories:
- Wineries who are active in the domestic tourism market and looking to move into international markets
- Wineries that are currently active in international markets
- Tourism business offering winery experiences
Delegates must be currently working within the wine tourism industry and have decision-making capacity within their organisation.
ATEC reserves the right to select the appropriate seller delegates to ensure a balanced representation of wine tourism products and experiences.
