VisitCanberra welcomes Jacqueline Lee to the role of Business Development Manager for Singapore, Malaysia and India markets.

Based in the Tourism Australia office in Singapore, Ms Lee will drive and deliver the organisation’s international trade activities within Singapore, Malaysia and India. Ms Lee has an extensive career in the travel and trade industry, previously working for the Northern Territory and Tasmania and has delivered sales missions for Visit Victoria, Destination New South Wales and VisitCanberra.

Canberra and the ACT region has seen significant year on year growth in leisure visitation from Singapore, Malaysia and India – data from the most recent International Visitors Survey showed an 18.8% increase in visitors from Singapore, a 55.3% growth from India and 10.7% from Malaysia.

Ms Lee will support the Canberra based team, providing market insights and local market knowledge to support tailoring VisitCanberra messages to these markets.

Since her appointment, Jacqueline has represented VisitCanberra at Tourism Australia tradeshow and events in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
