POSTED June 13, 2019
CATEGORIES Events,

Claude Monet’s Impression, sunrise is the National Gallery of Australia latest blockbuster now on show until 1 September 2019. From the Musée Marmottan in Paris, see the painting that changed the art world forever.

Discover the story behind Monet’s ground-breaking masterpiece, the artists that influenced him and learn how Impression, sunrise inspired a moment.

From waterlilies to seascapes, city scenes and rural landscapes, experience the beauty of natural light, colour and fleeting moments captured by Monet and other Impressionist masters including Turner, Boudin, Sisley and Morisot.

Standard tickets are available for viewing 10am-5pm daily, or premium tickets allow exclusive viewing from 9am-10am. Another after hours experience is the Monet Mondays from 5-7pm with a glass of champagne and music. The gallery is also offering high tea at Monet’s Tea Salon until 21 July 2019.
