  • The gnome conquers the Gong
POSTED August 21, 2019
CATEGORIES Events, Social media,

Floriade’s fabulous pink gnome hit the streets of Wollongong last week to promote the upcoming festival and spring activities in Canberra.

Residents of the Gong visiting Tally Ho Café were treated to free ONA Coffee in branded Floriade coffee cups as well as flowers to brighten their day, with members of the VisitCanberra PR team spruiking a visit to the nation’s capital.

The team chose Wollongong as it’s a high visitation market, with more than 8.8 per cent of Floriade’s interstate visitors coming from there. The giant pink gnome proved a talking point on the day and we hope to see many coastal fans visiting him in Canberra soon. Head to Instagram and follow gnomes.of.floriade for a bit of gnome fun.
