  • Lake George Winery owner shortlisted for wine award
POSTED September 4, 2019
CATEGORIES Awards,

Congratulations to Sarah McDougall of Lake George Winery who has been shortlisted for the 2019 Australian Women in Wine Awards in the Owner/Operator of the Year category.

The McDougalls purchased the oldest winery in the district 12 months ago after owning Summerhill Road Vineyard.

Sarah joins Laura Carter of Unico Zelo and Belinda Chambers of Lake Moodemere Estate as finalists for this category at the fifth annual event which will be announced on 17 September in New York.

The Australian Women in Wine Awards have partnered with Wine Australia for this event which kicks off the USA Aussie Wine Month campaign. If successful, Sarah will join the Canberra District’s other Sarah (Collingwood) of Four Winds Vineyard who took out the title previously.

The ceremony will be live streamed on the AWIWA Facebook page. Good luck, Sarah.
