Marriott International has made its first foray into the Canberra market entering an agreement with Iconic Hotels with its new premium Braddon property, Midnight Hotel.
The hotel will be part of the group’s Autograph Collection Hotels joining Pier One Sydney Harbour in Australia. Opening mid-September, the 199-room hotel has a restaurant, bar, gym, sauna, conference space and an indoor pool and was designed by renowned architects Fender Katsalidis and OCULUS Urban Design. Each guest room will feature a bespoke commissioned piece of artwork by international artist and architectural designer, Thomas Bucich.
The hotel is part of a $200 million commercial and residential Midnight development.
