The International Team have also recently attended trade missions across Malaysia and Singapore, with over 100 meetings to engage with key travel representatives to increase awareness of Canberra. This encompassed Australia Marketplace South East Asia 2019, which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 30 September to 2 October.
The event was also attended by the Chief Minister. This Tourism Australia event provided an opportunity to establish business relationships with product planners and decision makers representing outbound travel from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
