  • Bushfire recovery update for Destination Southern NSW
POSTED January 24, 2020
CATEGORIES Industry,

Sean Haylan, General Manager of Destination Southern NSW (DSNSW) recently sent an update of the Bushfire recovery.

DSNSW is working alongside local government partners and industry representative groups to understand the impact that the bushfires have had on affected areas and determine how to best provide recovery support to industry through the Regional Recovery Committee via the business and tourism sub-committee. The Committee consists of representatives from state and local government agencies and includes the impacted areas of Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, Queanbeyan-Palerang and Snowy Monaro local government areas.

DSNSW is also working to develop an online content channel that will curate and collate content from existing online sources bringing it together via one accessible platform. The channel is due to launch at the end of the month. In the meantime, for bushfire recovery information visit the Bushfire Response Information page on our website. For information specific to your area, stay in touch with your local Tourism Manager and Economic Development Manager.
