Join us this Saturday 7 March as Canberra Day in the Suburbs pops up in four town centres around Canberra.
Celebrate the fantastic work of the Territory’s Citizens of the Year, our emergency services and parks and conservation personnel, who worked tirelessly over the summer dealing with bushfires, smoke haze and the storm event.
Attendees will have an opportunity to write a message of support at the Appreciation Station. The Arts ACT crew will have some helpers on hand to assist your creativity! These messages will then be displayed on the big TV screens alongside the music stage at the Canberra Day events on Monday 9 March in the Parliamentary Triangle.
Thank an emergency services representative in person and also enjoy live music, a free sausage sizzle, cake and more!
11am – 2pm, Saturday 7 March.
Four locations:
- Margaret Timpson Park, Belconnen
- Between Gungahlin Library and Gungahlin College, Gungahlin
- Near Weston Creek Community Centre at Cooleman Court, Weston
- Tuggeranong Town Park, Tuggeranong
