Almost 200 industry representatives attended the Canberra Region Tourism Conference on 6 June at the Hyatt Hotel, hosted by VisitCanberra. The conference was themed around “connecting and looking ahead” and saw a number of presentations from tourism experts and thought leaders, who shared insights and inspiration on the future of tourism for Canberra and region.

The key themes which came through the presentations throughout the day were: collaboration, sustainability, accessibility and innovation.

The afternoon session also provided the opportunity for industry representatives to participate in an initial discussion on the ACT’s tourism 2030 strategy. The presentation slides are available online here.
