CATEGORIES Industry, Research,

The University of Southern Queensland are currently undertaking research to examine the factors that impact Australian tourism SMEs (small-medium enterprises) decision to engage with Government Support Programs, for example, grants, subsidies, business advice, and seminars.

If you are a small or medium tourism business with under 200 employees they would love to have your input into the research.

The aims of the research are to:

  • Understand tourism SME awareness of government support programs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of government support programs utilised by tourism SMEs
  • Recommend improvements in government support programs for tourism SMEs
  • Identify factors that may impact uptake and adoption of government support programs by tourism SMEs

Participation simply consists of a virtual interview of less than an hour in duration.
