  • MyWay+, a new public transport ticketing system for Canberra
POSTED September 2, 2024
CATEGORIES General, Industry,

Soon visitors to Canberra will find it even easier to move around the city using Transport Canberra’s bus and light rail services.

MyWay+, the new next generation ticketing system, will provide customers with powerful journey planning, live service updates and convenient ticketing choices.

Expected to commence in November 2024, MyWay+ will allow customers to tap on and off Transport Canberra’s bus and light rail services using debit cards, credit cards, or devices such as phones and smart watches. People can also continue using a physical MyWay+ card if they prefer. These will be sold from a number of retail agents across Canberra including two major supermarket brands.

Further details on the new ticketing system will be announced as the system ‘go live’ date gets closer.
