Showcasing the nation’s best tourism businesses, the Australian Tourism Awards honoured achievements across 26 categories. And in an impressive result, the Canberra Region had six of its thirteen national finalists achieve top three status.
Gold Award winners included Questacon for Major Tourist Attractions and the National Arboretum Canberra for Ecotourism. Silver Awards went to Alivio Tourist Park for Caravan and Holiday Parks and the National Arboretum Canberra for Excellence in Accessible Tourism. Bronze was awarded to the National Dinosaur Museum for Tourist Attractions and the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre for Visitor Information Services.
This national recognition not only celebrates individual business achievements, but it also reinforces the importance of the tourism sector in driving economic growth and enhancing Canberra’s reputation as a premier destination.
Congratulations to all finalists and winners—your contributions continue to elevate our city and region on the national stage.
