  • Trade famils showcase autumn in Canberra
POSTED April 10, 2025
CATEGORIES Industry, International,

VisitCanberra recently hosted 10 enthusiastic Premier Aussie Specialist advisors from the USA and Canada on a 3-night familiarisation in Canberra. The famil was hosted in collaboration with Tourism Australia and Tourism Tasmania, showcasing the ease of packaging and promoting multi-state Australian itineraries to the advisors.

The specially curated itinerary gave advisors a taste of some of Canberra’s trade-ready experiences suitable for the market – from the iconic Signature Tour at Australian Parliament House, to a private tour of the Canberra Wine District with Van Du Vin, and a moving guided tour at the Australian War Memorial, and plenty more.

Later in March, VisitCanberra welcomed a second famil for Singaporean travel trade on another action-packed program in partnership with Tourism Australia and Destination New South Wales. This visit offered further opportunities to explore Canberra’s diverse trade-ready experiences, award-winning coffee, and vibrant autumn events calendar – helping to build strong connections and interest for our destination from Singapore.
