  • Australian Tourism Exchange delegates experience Canberra
POSTED May 8, 2025
CATEGORIES Industry, International,

Each year the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) presents an opportunity to host international delegates in attendance on pre and post familiarisations across Australia.

VisitCanberra welcomed delegates from the USA and India across our travel media and trade partner famil programs. The delegates got a taste of the capital by sharing a number of iconic experiences together, including Canberra’s lineup of diverse trade friendly experiences, award-winning coffee and exceptional restaurants, along with ample opportunities to spot kangaroos. Crisp autumn days were on show for the many first-time visitors to the capital, with many wishing they had of visited Canberra sooner.

The goal of VisitCanberra’s famil programs are to spark inspiration and build familiarity with the destination. With plenty of stories to tell, it is anticipated that the famils will lead to published articles showcasing Canberra, as well as newly developed confidence for trade partners to sell the destination to their clients.
