  • A wrap on the Australian Tourism Exchange
POSTED June 26, 2026
CATEGORIES Events, General, Industry,

Held last month in May, VisitCanberra showcased the nation’s capital at Australia’s largest tourism trade event, the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), alongside our largest ever delegation of ACT tourism operators including the Canberra Airport. Together, Team Canberra highlighted the breadth of the city’s international tourism offering – from iconic cultural attractions to accommodation, tours and unique experiences, connecting directly with international buyers and trade partners across the globe.

ATE remains a key platform for driving visitation and promoting Canberra’s bookable experiences to global markets, with Team Canberra conducting more than 1,000 B2B appointments across the week-long event.

ATE will be hosted in Sydney in May 2027. Reach out to tourism.trade@act.gov.au for more information.
