Canberra has been announced as a Host City for the ICC World T20 2020 (WT20 2020) women’s cricket tournament in February and March 2020.

On 9 February 2018, VisitCanberra held an industry briefing session to announce a major partnership campaign with TripAdvisor. The industry session also included presentations from Tripadvisor and Viator.
