The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is a database for Australia’s tourism operators to use to easily promote their business or events across numerous digital platforms. Overseen by VisitCanberra and the other Australian State Tourism Organisations, ATDW contains quality controlled Australian tourism information designed to attract tourists and increase visitor numbers and expenditure.
An ATDW listing has many benefits for tourism operators. These include:
The ease of a one-off listing that could appear on numerous travel, tourism and event related websites
Listing on ATDW is completely free for ACT and NSW operators
No need to duplicate your information for Destination NSW if you are near the New South Wales border
The ability to update your information for multiple marketing platforms quickly and easily in one place
Before taking the time to create an ATDW listing it's important to determine whether or not your business or event is eligible. Every ATDW listing is subject to a quality assurance process and listings which do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
ATDW is open to tourism businesses and events located and/or operating their service within the ACT.
Tourism businesses must operate out of a physical location; web based businesses are ineligible.
In addition, tourism businesses and events must have a strong leisure tourism focus and the best potential to attract interstate visitors.
Every ATDW listings must fall into one of the following categories:
Accommodation
Attractions
Events
Food and Drink
Hire
Tours
Transport
A tourism operator also must meet their category-specific eligibility criteria before registering.
