VisitCanberra are proud to be participating in Tourism Australia’s Global Youth Campaign.
The campaign was launched on Friday 6 October by delivering the first news bulletin from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
A dedicated, tongue-in-cheek news channel will be serving up good news stories from across Australia as part of a new $5 million youth campaign. Curated by youth for youth, Aussie News Today will share stories from across Australia, broadcasting them directly into the news feeds of millions of young people and potential travellers across the world.
The campaign will initially focus on four of Australia’s largest youth markets – the UK, France, Germany and Italy – before being extended to other markets next year.
Tourism Australia and VisitCanberra would love your help finding those gold nuggets for the youth audience!
Great content could include:
- Funny stuff (silly signs, things people say, quirky animal pics)
- Random facts
- Events and festivals
- Short itineraries
- Unique experiences
- Things that happen in Canberra which make us unique
