  • Canberra targets international visitors
POSTED November 29, 2018
CATEGORIES International, Media,

VisitCanberra is continuing to showcase our capital globally, with three international campaigns currently in market.

In partnership with Singapore Airlines, the campaigns in India, Malaysia and Hong Kong aim to build awareness of Canberra as a leisure destination, in conjunction with tactical fares to encourage flight bookings.

In India, VisitCanberra’s campaign aims to leverage on Tourism Australia’s activity with a programmatic, Facebook and Yahoo media buy until 10 December.

The Malaysian campaign will use a combination of print and digital outlets as well as a hosted famil featuring Key Opinion Leaders to promote the new multi-city stay ticket via Sydney. The current campaign will run until the end of December, with a second phase planned for March-April 2019.

In Hong Kong, activity will take place across social media, digital and print outlets until 22 December, with a second phase planned for early January.

Planning is also underway for campaigns in Singapore and the United Kingdom in 2019.
