Eat, see and explore as Canberra transforms for the annual Enlighten Festival! Held over 17 days and nights from Friday March 1 to Sunday March 17, the city will be a hive of activity with a range of free and ticketed events, combined with local street food and live music and performances, to make the Enlighten Festival a highlight on Canberra’s 2019 events calendar.
In addition to the ever-popular 11 nights of Illuminations in the Parliamentary Triangle (1-11 March), Canberra’s Enlighten Festival is now a true celebration of culture and creativity, bringing together the Canberra Balloon Spectacular (9-17 March), Lights! Canberra! Action! (8 March), Symphony in the Park (10 March), Canberra Day (11 March) and Hit 104.7 Skyfire (16 March), plus activations in the city precinct and at the Australian National University, and more.
Industry is invited to get involved in this year’s Enlighten Festival by either becoming a sponsor of the festival or creating an event that fits within the Enlighten Festival programming guidelines.
Within the next 2 weeks an application form to list your business’ tour or activity will be circulated to industry with information on the guidelines for content as well as the application form. Once approved, participants will be able to have their tour or activity included on the Enlighten Festival website alongside official festival events and activities.
