VisitCanberra’s marketing efforts are continuing internationally, with a number of campaigns currently in market.
In partnership with Singapore Airlines, campaigns in Singapore and Hong Kong aim to build awareness of Canberra as a leisure destination, in conjunction with tactical fares to encourage flight bookings.
Singapore’s three-month campaign kicks off this week, featuring a series of advertorials in The Straits Times, supported by a comprehensive digital accompaniment. The campaign also includes social activity and tactical elements across Skyscanner, Google and more.
The second phase of a two-part digital campaign in Hong Kong also continues this week, focusing on Singapore Airlines’ social media channels, as well as travel-related sites at Flyagain.la, U Travel and Open Holidays.
Planning is underway for further campaigns in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, India and China.
In addition to these campaigns, VisitCanberra’s 30-second television commercial is now showing on Singapore Airlines’ inflight entertainment as part of an ongoing cooperative partnership. The commercial will continue playing as pre-roll to a number of popular inflight movies until March 2019.
